Canadian indie pop band Men I Trust has been making waves since their 2014 inception. Dragos Chiriac, Jessy Caron, and Emma Proulx met in high school and founded the band in Quebec City, Canada. In 2014, Men I Trust released their breakthrough hit “Humming Man,” a lo-fi piece that exemplified the band’s affinity for hazy, atmospheric pop. In 2018, with the publication of “Oncle Jazz,” a vast 24-track epic that displayed the band’s adaptability and compositional skills, they finally broke through.

Various artists, such as Helena Deland and Geoffroy, collaborated with the band on this album, giving their sound new dimensions.
Men I Trust’s sound is distinct, despite comparisons to other dream pop artists like Beach House and Alvvays.
