In 1995, four musicians from the United States met in Orlando, Florida to establish the rock band Matchbox Twenty. Rob Thomas sings lead for the band, which also features Kyle Cook and Paul Doucette on guitars, and Brian Yale on bass. They have been one of the most successful rock groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s thanks to their string of chart-topping albums and hit songs.
