27 acres of blooming tulips

It’s going to be a strong comeback for the Abbotsford Tulip Festival this year, as we haven’t seen them in a long time. It used to be an annual festival where it took place at different venues in Abbotsford, but with the pandemic and other factors like the huge flood in 2022, the festival hasn’t happened in the last four years. The wait is now over because they are opened!

This year, Abbotsford Tulip Festival is finally coming back. In fact, they opened two weeks ago on Friday, April 14th and will continue until Sunday, May 14th. Abbotsford Tulip Festival will be here seven days a week from 6:00 am in the morning to 8:00 pm in the evening, you can purchase your tickets online. The venue is located at Lakeland Flowers in Abbotsford.

The weather has been a bit cold for the last few months, so there is a slight delay of the blooming of the flowers. I had a family friend that is interested in photography and he went there when they first opened. He wanted to take his friend to explore Vancouver’s beautiful scenery. According to his experience, he said not many varieties were at full bloom yet. The tulip fields would look much better when the weather gets warmer and give them some more time to grow. Plants need to go through photosynthesis and there was just too much rain for the month of April.
