The Bengals have lost when it counted most the past 2 years in a row.

Last year the Bengals made it to the Super Bowl for the first time in 33 years after a terrific run during the regular season. Sadly they were unable to get the job done and win the biggest game of the year, but fans gave them a excuse as the team is still young.

It was Joe Burrows first full season in the NFL healthy, Tee Higgins was just starting to hit his stride, and Ja’Marr Chase had just gotten used to playing with the pair for a full season.

However, this year the Bengals failed to make it to the Super Bowl, which is worse then last season. They lost to The Chiefs in what I would argue was the Super Bowl finals game.

The Chiefs on paper will destroy the Eagles, and go on to win the Super Bowl. The Bengals would in theory also destroy the Eagles.

That means two years in a row the Bengals have failed to close in the game that matters most.

Why can’t this team seem to get the job done?

The pressure could be a factor.

This team has all the tools to get the job done, but they aren’t used to playing in the big games yet.

If this team can keep their skills up, and continue to develop over the next few years, they’ll continue to make it far in the season and learn to deal with the pressure that comes with being champions.

This team will win a Super Bowl one day. All they need is some time.
