BCIT just completed its 9th annual 2018 Student Innovation Challenge – a competition available to all BCIT students to share their innovative ideas, inventions, and research projects.
This year we had more than $13,000 in prizes and received the most exciting and diverse student submissions with representation from all the schools.
The Student Innovation Challenge “What’s Your Bright Idea?” awards ceremony was held Monday, May 28 in the Great Hall. Kathy Kinloch welcomed the audience, Tom Roemer, Kim Dotto, and sponsor Stephanie Snowden from CPABC, were on hand to present the awards to the recipients.
“You all have my admiration and congratulations for braving our BCIT dragons regardless of the outcome,” says Kathy Kinloch “Kudos to all of you who participated”.
Also in attendance were the Student Innovation Challenge sponsors: CPABC, EB Horsman, JTS Consulting and Newport Concept Corporation – thank you for your support!
We would also like to thank all the faculty who encouraged their students to participate, and to the Student Innovation Challenge committee members for their continued guidance and support.
