Dr. Hassan Farhangi, Director of the Smart Microgrid Applied Research Team, will be one of the featured speakers at the IEEE WiE-YP Conference on Clean Energy in Vancouver Nov 16-17, 2017.
The one-and-a-half day conference is featuring the engineering and clean energy communities. The main objectives of the conference are:
- Providing an overview of the clean energy industry in Vancouver
- Creating awareness and increasing understanding among the community and companies of the importance and benefits of clean energy and how it can help in dealing with global warming
- To get novel green design ideas for companies, as well as potential research lines to explore
