Breaking Down Walls, Building Bridges: A Community Dialogue

May 14, 2015 by Antoinette Jackson Leave a Comment

In 2014 the VPD Dog Squad needed a new operational obstacle course for their dogs.  After many stops and starts, a diverse group came together with an idea for how to make it happen.  With support from the VPD and BCIT Applied Researchers a partnership was formed with BCIT Indigenous Initiatives and Aboriginal Trades Students and a truly impressive course was built. The journey was captured by videographer Sharad Khare and a compelling documentary emerged.

Come and watch their story in a 7 minute short version of the documentary and hear the partners speak about how a group of professionals came together to build this lasting legacy for the VPD Dog Squad.
