Objective:
– To demonstrate the effects of magnetic induction on conductive materials.
Apparatus:
- Solary H7 magnetic induction heater with induction coils
- bolt samples
Method:
-Loosen the knobs on the heater. Insert the coil legs into the holes. Small-diameter coils will heat up faster than larger-diameter coils.
-Tighten the knobs and connect the plug into the electrical outlet.
-Place the coil around a bolt and turn on the power by pushing the red button.
