BCIT President Kathy Kinloch has been inducted into the 2018 Women’s Executive Network (WXN) Top 100 Hall of Fame.
Each year, the WXN recognizes 100 of Canada’s highest achieving and most influential women across the private, public and not-for-profit sectors. Kathy is one of the ten elite women to have been inducted into WXN’s Top 100 Hall of Fame this year. This induction follows the fourth consecutive year that Kathy has been recognized by the WXN in their list of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award.
As an inductee in the WXN Top 100 Hall of Fame, Kathy is recognized for leading organizational renewal in complex environments. She continues to broaden and deepen BCIT’s partnerships with business, industry, and community across BC and around the world.
Other trailblazing inductees include Christiane Bergevin, Past Chair of the Board- Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Christy Clark, Premier of British Columbia (2011 – 2017), and Rhiannon Traill, President & CEO- Economic Club of Canada.
Acknowledgements of Kathy’s accomplishments include Top 100 Public Sector Leaders, WXN ranking of Canada’s Top 100 Women; Most Influential Women in Business, BC Business magazine; Influential Women in Business Awards, Business in Vancouver magazine; Top 50 Power List, Vancouver Magazine; Woman of Distinction, YWCA Metro Vancouver; and an Honorary Doctor of Laws from Royal Roads University.
Kathy’s board positions include the Business Council of BC; Polytechnics Canada; Surrey Hospital and Outpatient Centre Foundation; and Telus Corporation. She is also a member of the Business Council of Canada’s Business Higher Education Roundtable and is currently chairing the provincial Emerging Economy Task Force.
