New BCIT microcredential supports internationally-trained engineers into the Canadian workforce

BCIT is proud to launch the Canadian Engineering Professional Practice microcredential program to support internationally-trained engineers in entering the Canadian engineering workforce. The program familiarizes internationally graduated engineers with the practice of engineering in Canada and the regulatory framework of the profession. Meanwhile, for Canadian Engineering program graduates, this program will prepare them for the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE); one of the mandatory requirements for the licensing of engineers in Canada.

The part-time, online program allows learners to gain the knowledge while typically working at the same time. The three courses within the program can be taken one-by-one or all in the same term.
