The BCIT School of Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sanja Boskovic, PhD Mech. Eng., PhD MEd as Associate Dean, Industrial and Mechanical Trades.
Dr. Boskovic is no stranger to the BCIT community as she has been with the Institute since 2001. Her career started in the Power Engineering Department where she was faculty before becoming Department Head for nine years. Then in 2018, Dr. Boskovic advanced her career to Associate Dean, Aerospace, within the School of Transportation – overseeing the Aerospace Technology Campus in Richmond campus and its programs.
As Associate Dean, Industrial and Mechanical Trades, Dr. Boskovic’s portfolio programs include Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Refrigeration, Industrial Instrumentation, Millwright, and Power Engineering.
Dr. Boskovic is a lifelong learner and holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and most recently, obtained her PhD in Education Technology and Learning Design. She is also a past recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research.
