The world premiere of the Heart of the Fraser documentary was held on April 7, 2019 with close to 300 people in attendance to watch this ecologically and locally significant film at the Telus Theatre, BCIT Burnaby Campus.
The presentation of the film was accompanied by a panel including Dr. Mike Church, Prof. Emeritus, UBC; Fin Donnelly MP, Coquitlam; Mark Angelo, former Director of BCIT Rivers’ Institute and Burnaby streams-keeper; Lina Azeez, Watershed Watch; Dean Werk, Great River Fishing Adventures; and Ken Ashley, Director of BCIT Rivers Institute.
