A carry-all gift

Thebag.ca, founded by Andrew Murray (Business Administration) and his wife, sells stylish, yet sustainable tote bags that are reusable. Present them as gifts or stocking stuffers, and help friends and family show off their neighbourhood pride through this chic tote bag.

You can also find trendy yet sustainable tote bags and clothing items at Cherryberry Creatives (Cherie Dela Cruz, Social Media and Marketing). The online Etsy shop features a range of fashion-forward items, such as t-shirts, canvas bags, stickers, and more.

Indigenous gifts supporting Truth and Reconciliation

For a variety of specially curated gifts that support economic reconciliation by connecting shoppers with Indigenous businesses, check out the gift boxes from Shop First Nations (Rob Schulz, BCIT Computer Systems). The history behind the Holiday Market

The inaugural Holiday Market was introduced in 2020 as a way to support our alumni through a unique year that saw huge upticks in online shopping and the introduction of contactless curbside pick-up as the new norm. The ongoing pandemic and economic climate have continued to pose challenges for many small businesses and our BCIT alumni-owned businesses are no exception. The BCIT Alumni Association is proud to help support our enterprising alumni through the Holiday Market for the third year in a row.
