The world is at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution that will fundamentally alter the way people work, live, and play as we accelerate the move towards digital platforms. In understanding the impact of technologies and innovation on privacy and security, the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Northeastern University – Vancouver (Northeastern) are co-hosting the Vancouver International Privacy and Security Summit (VIPSS) in Vancouver on March 9-11, 2022.

A hybrid event for security and privacy professionals from around the world
From live streaming keynotes to virtual and in-person collaborative sessions, the three-day VIPSS Summit offers a virtual and in-person experience for all delegates. With over 1,000 international subject matter experts from government, private sector, and academia expected to be in attendance, topics of discussion include the impacts of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, cloud computing, big data, e-commerce, bioethics, facial recognition, blockchain, crypto currencies, data governance, digital health, hybrid workplace, cyber resilience, metaverse, mobile security, smart campus, digital transformation, and other innovation in the field.
