In this video update, President Kathy Kinloch extends her gratitude to the community as many begin summer vacations, while others continue preparations for Fall 2021. President Kinloch also recognizes Pride Month and Indigenous History Month, both of which have tragically coincided with the discovery of the remains of the Indigenous children at a residential school in Kamloops and the killing of a Muslim family in London, Ontario. There is no place for this kind of violence in our world, and BCIT stands with the Muslim and Indigenous communities who are grieving.
