Dave Dunn appointed Associate Dean in Building Design and Construction -Trades

The BCIT School of Construction and the Environment is pleased to announce that Dave Dunn has been appointed to the position of Associated Dean in Building Design and Construction Trades. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge to this position and as part of the School’s management team. Programs in his portfolio include Carpentry, Joinery, Piping Trades (Plumbing, Steam/Pipefitting, Gasfitting) and Sheet Metal.

He has worked at BCIT for over 25 years, starting as an Instructor in the Joinery department and as the Chief Instructor for the department for the past 12 years. During this time he also served as Acting Associate Dean on two different occasions. Dave holds a Red Seal in the Joinery Trade as well as a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University.
