Thanks to our BCIT Technology Teacher Education (TTED) students, not all housing needs to be expensive. For our furry friends, that is.
One of the first projects for TTED students this term was to build a wooden dog house. Ten, 4′ X 3′ custom-made houses were completed in only a few short weeks and they’re now ready to go to good homes. Perhaps you know a certain dog who’s “been a good boy”?
For only $20, you (or someone you know) could bring one home to the delight of your pet. To reserve yours, please email Christina_Hamfelt@bcit.ca as dog houses will be sold first-come, first-served, and since we anticipate these will sell quick, be sure to email us to set one aside*.
Pick up will be between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm next Wednesday, January 31, at the BCIT Burnaby Campus.
What’s next
The dog houses served as a warm-up project for TTED’s next big (or small?) assignment. Students have already begun work on creating another tiny house—this time, for humans!
