This time of year germs are spreading and people are getting sick. Here are some tips to beat the bug this winter season!
1. Clean your hands!
Wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer. This is crucial to do before eating. You can also avoid touching things like rails and water fountains which may collect germs. To prevent them from getting into your system you should also avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes.
2. Maintain a healthy lifestyle
Exercise regularly, eat well and get enough sleep. These things will help your immune system fight off the cold and flu.
3. Catch it early
If you start feeling symptoms start dealing with them immediately. Gargle salt water for a sore throat, have lots of Vitamin C (Emergen-C packs are a great source for this), and stay hydrated! If symptoms get worse or last more than a week you should go see a doctor.
