Halfway through exams!!!

Hey it’s Megan!

If you read my previous post you would know that I had about eight exams within a span of a week in my program (Human Resources)! So if you read the title of this blog you would know that i’m officially halfway there, but really i’m more than halfway. There are 2.5 (I added the .5 just because I just need to hand one in) exams until I taste the freedom.

For those who don’t know me, I like checklists, and LOVE to cross things off.

Here is my current exam checklist:

FRIDAY: Finance

MONDAY: Labour Relations + Business Law

TUESDAY: Competency Analysis & Design

WEDNESDAY: Human Resource Management Systems

THURSDAY: Training & Development

FRIDAY: Human Resource Planning + Employment Relationships/ Conflict Management

I just woke up from a nap after pulling an almost all nighter for my Human Resource Management Systems exam and procrastinating a little bit before opening up the books for my Training & Development exam tomorrow. One thing I miss getting is my normal amount of sleep of 8 hours. I have to remember that this is temporary and when the break comes i’ll be able to sleep, eat, gym, and work as I please.

Something that is keeping me motivated is another checklist to keep my energy high. So here is my after exam checklist:

SECRET SANTA: Right after our last exam our set is going to exchange gifts and I’m super excited to give my gift. I’m horrible at keeping secrets so I’m not surprised if the person I’m giving a gift to, knows it’s me!

CATCHING UP WITH FRIENDS: There have been a couple of friends I haven’t seen since the end of August and I can’t wait to catch up with them!

WRAPPING GIFTS: Something about wrapping Christmas gifts just brings me joy.

SLEEP: No need for a description!

GYM: With exams, I haven’t been able to go to the gym that much. Also, with all those Christmas dinners coming up I think it would be a good idea.

WORK: Yes, I enjoy work and my bank account is slowly draining from all these online Christmas orders I’ve been getting delivered.

Thanks for following me on my journey and I hope all of your exams have been going well!
