The Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association (GVHBA), in partnership with the Centra Cares Program, provides four annual scholarships in support of students in the BCIT Carpentry Framing and Forming Program.
This year, the four deserving award recipients are Kyle Katerenchuk, Jesse Tregilges, Voytek Michalak and Matthew Vela. The students received their scholarships during the GVHBA Annual General Meeting held at the Riverway Clubhouse, Riverway Golf Course on April 5, 2017.
The GVHBA Fall Classic Golf Tournament is one of Western Canada’s largest tournaments. The evening banquet features an impressive silent and live auction to generate funds in support of the GVHBA’s Centra Cares BCIT Scholarships. The committee works to actively secure sponsorships, drive sales and engagement, along with sourcing prizes and donations for the auctions.
