President Kathy Kinloch recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women

BCIT President Kathy Kinloch has been recognized by the Women’s Executive Network on their 2016 list of Canada’s Most Powerful Women.

The elite award honours 100 women from across the nation and celebrates, “the incredible accomplishments of Canada’s leading female executives who have raised their voices, overturned obstacles, empowered the voiceless and paved a path for the next generation”.

Kathy is recognized in the PWC Public Sector Leaders category for her dedication to broadening and deepening BCIT’s partnerships with business, industry, and community.

Other trailblazers receiving the award include Wendy Freeman, PresidentCTV News, Jennifer Tory, Group Head, Personal and Commercial Banking RBC, and Julie Delahanty, Executive DirectorOxfam Canada.

Earlier this year, Kathy was also named a Woman of Distinction by the YWCA Metro Vancouver and one of the powerful people in Vancouver by Vancouver Magazine’s Power 50 List. Congratulations Kathy!
