CASIS Digital Roundtable – March 18, 2021

March 11, 2021 by Fiona Kerr

Hello CIA students:

CASIS Vancouver is hosting a Digital Roundtable on March 18, 2021 at 16:00 PST, via Zoom, which we believe will be of interest to BCIT Forensics students and faculty who are interested in violent extremism in Canada, online extremist content, and youth recruitment by extremist groups. CASIS Vancouver Digital Roundtables present an opportunity to discuss emerging security concerns with practitioners and academic researchers involved in policy, tactical and strategic decision making.

With pleasure, we will have the Director of the Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism, and Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Dr. Barbara Perry speaking on “Right Wing Extremism and Youth Recruitment”.

Digital Roundtables are free for CASIS members. Non member can purchase tickets and get more information about this and future Digital Roundtables at https://casisvancouver.ca/roundtables/

If you have any questions, please email: efranco@casisvancouver.ca

Kind regards,
Eduardo Franco
