Scope
The surrey RCMP Support Services is looking to fill two temporary Forensic Identification Technician positions. This position exercises independent judgement to perform technical work related to forensic videos.
Responsibilities
- Review and recover image and video evidence from various sources.
- Download, export and/or enhance images based on policies and procedures.
- Prepare images and videos to aid in investigations.
- Prepare and maintain forensic reports, files and documentation for presentation and/or court disclosure.
Qualifications
- Diploma in video technology, broadcast television or a discipline relevant to the field of forensic video analysis.
- Minimum of two years’ related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Completion of an RCMP Reliability Security Clearance and ability to maintain for the duration of employment.
Conditions of Employment
This position requires completion of an RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.
