Scope

The surrey RCMP Support Services is looking to fill two temporary Forensic Identification Technician positions. This position exercises independent judgement to perform technical work related to forensic videos.

Responsibilities 

  • Review and recover image and video evidence from various sources.
  • Download, export and/or enhance images based on policies and procedures.
  • Prepare images and videos to aid in investigations.
  • Prepare and maintain forensic reports, files and documentation for presentation and/or court disclosure.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in video technology, broadcast television or a discipline relevant to the field of forensic video analysis.
  • Minimum of two years’ related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Completion of an RCMP Reliability Security Clearance and ability to maintain for the duration of employment.

Conditions of Employment

This position requires completion of an RCMP Reliability Security Clearance.

Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
