The Vancouver Police Museum and Archives is currently recruiting for several of their volunteer programs.
Students with a passion for history and knowledge of forensic disciplines can build their skills and experience with public speaking and engagement, enrich their knowledge through research for their programs, and network with a range of policing, scientific, and museum professionals who are all part of the VPMA community.
The VPMA showcases the history of the Vancouver Police Department, the Vancouver Coroners’ Service, and the Vancouver City Analyst’s laboratory.
They house collections of historical artifacts and objects relating to these three organizations, host public events such as Movies in the Morgue, and provide educational programs that explore the history of policing and investigation in Vancouver.
Applications for volunteers accepted on an ongoing basis.
