Policy & Reporting Analyst – RCMP

$36.92 to $43.65 per hour

Reporting to the Manager, RCMP Adminstration and to the Advisory Non-Commissioned Officer, the Policy & Reporting Analyst leads the the risk management function by creating and implementing governance structure, conducting quality assurance audits to assess compliance, and establishing and incorporating risk management concepts, policies, procedures processes and systems into operating practices.  This position is a delegate of the Office-In-Charge and the incumbent will possess full authority to hold City of Richmond RCMP members and staff accountable.

We are seeking an outstanding individual with thorough knowledge and experience in risk management, strong strategic business analysis, critical thinking skills, and problem resolution skills, along with the ability to present to the Detachment Leadership Team, Senior Management Team, and to Mayor and Council.

Qualified candidates will possess a 2-year Diploma in Business Management or related field, coupled with five (5) years of related experience including operational policing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to individuals holding a Degree in Business Management with specialization in Risk Management concepts and methodologies.
