In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)
- Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in Economics, Statistics or Sociology.*
Note: Candidates must always have a degree. The courses for the specialization must be acceptable and may have been taken at a recognized post-secondary institution, but not necessarily within a degree program in the required specialization. The specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience.
*Proof of education in the form of official transcripts will be required.
- Extensive* experience researching, collecting, evaluating and analyzing information, in order to offer guidance and recommendations relating to intelligence and/or within the context of law enforcement.
- Extensive* experience applying analytical techniques, methodology, or technological solutions.
- Extensive* experience establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Extensive* experience preparing and presenting various reports, project findings, and/or briefing material for/to clients, managers or administrators.
- Extensive* experience using the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Extensive* experience using law enforcement databases and information systems.
*Extensive is defined as the depth and breadth of experience normally associated with approximately two years of experience.

- Experience using analytical tools, databases and/or mapping software (e.g. i2, iBase, Access, ArcGIS).

Conditions of employment
Top Secret security clearance – RCMP Top Secret security clearance.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to attend training, or for work, as necessary.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, overtime, on evenings and weekends, and/or on a shift schedule.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness and ability to be exposed to subject matter and/or material of investigations, which may be difficult to deal with.
