The “E” Division Headquarters office in Surrey, BC is hiring a full-time Forensic Video Analyst. This position is part of their integrated team of Forensic Video Technicians and Forensic Video Analysts that provides forensic video analysis services to all RCMP detachments and units nationwide.
Duties Include:
1. Scientifically analyzing video evidence, writing expert reports and providing expert testimony in court;
2. Ensuring work performed meets the standards for scientific acceptance in the federal and provincial judicial systems;
3. Contributing to the development of new processes in forensic video analysis and the use of video evidence;
4. Operating, maintaining, researching, testing and recommending specialized multimedia hardware and software; and
5. Providing subject-matter expertise and instruction in forensic video analysis and video evidence.
