Forensics Department Highlighted in BCIT Magazine

Steen Hartsen dons a white lab coat and blue rubber gloves to test DNA samples.The Forensic department was recently featured by BCIT Magazine, a 30-minute TV news program prepared and delivered by BCIT Journalism students that is broadcast weekly on Shaw TV and online. This episode highlighted Forensic Science and featured a brief interview with Steen Hartsen, technical staff member in our DNA lab, instructor, and coordinator of our CSI Academy for high school students, on his career path and how his degree at BCIT helped him get where he is today.
