KEYNOTE SPEAKER: DR. ELAINE ALPERT
Dr. Alpert, Adjunct Professor and Director of the Interpersonal Violence Prevention
Program at the University of British Columbia, has worked to develop public
health initiatives and curriculum that address family violence, sexual assault and
sex trafficking. She has gained international recognition for her work in health
education, policy development and community advocacy for violence prevention.
