Tom Jackson is not only an outstanding musician but also an actor and activist. The Essential Tom Jackson, released in 2018, highlights his unique talent as a folk-pop songwriter. He was also a tough actor, with credits ranging from black comedy thrillers “Cold Pursuit” and “60 North” to working with Eric Bana Olivia Wilde and Chris Kristofferson. To top it all off, his long Huron Carole Christmas tour contributed a combination of cash and in-kind worth $230 million to food Banks and shelters. It is worth mentioning that the concert is also one of several performances to raise money for local food Banks and home services. Let’s look forward to tonight’s contemporary and signature Christmas music, and how creatively crafted Tom Jackson managed to captivate audiences with feel-good Canadian music spanning more than 30 years.
