BC Music Scene-Cousin Harley CD Release Party

Cousin Harley is the rocking hillbilly music persona of Paul Pigat, an extraordinary, profession guitarist vocalist and songwriter. Hailing from Vancouver, Cousin Harley has a hard-earned reputation for delivering everything from classic honky tonk and cow punk rippers, to a helping of western swing and classic jump blues. He plays in the old tradition – slugging it out hot and heavy in roadhouses across the land.

“Pigat is a ballsy; confident vocalist, at home equally with forceful rockabilly, laid back western swing tunes and slow ballads. His lead guitar is stunning and the generous breaks bristle with invention and at times are lightning fast.” Harry Dodds comments Pigat on “Now Dig This” Magazine in UK

Now they have their latest album “Let’s Go”, which is one of their speeediest, with blazing hot playing galore. A live to tape concert of Cousin Harley performing gems from their new album direct from the BlueShore at Capilano University stage. Harkening back to the trio’s first album “Jukin”,  while cherry-picking the best of all seven albums that have preceded it, Let’s Go!, is the first album for which leader Paul Pigat penned every great tune.

Do you want to join their party? Let’s to join them in their living rooms the world over to experience guitar genius Pigat, drummer Jesse Cahill and stand-up Jeremy Holmes perform the new tunes and classic favourite. Also, Fiona Black will host this party.
