Looking for some more new music? This guy is the real deal. From working on his own name, as well as a duo name, Andrew Christopher is one to keep your eyes on.
Andrew grew up in a small town called Agassiz, BC. He has been performing music full-time over the past 6 years at parties, weddings, bars, and restaurants. His biggest inspirations for his music are his three children, his marriage, love for travel, and lust for life.
AC has been writing and recording original music for 10 years now, but his current new music is under the name “Parliament of Owls.” Parliament of Owls is a singer/songwriter duo with his friend Jamie Rowe from Vancouver Island. This folk-rock duo released their debut album on July 1, 2019. These two together have some incredible tunes, including their new single “Hey Baby.” This music is feel-good, easy listening, and I 100% recommend checking it out for some good vibes. “This Beach,” and “Vacation Song” are two more great songs off the album.

Parliament of Owls has been a part of a new project called “Artists in Isolation.” This is an album that features songs from local BC artists that have been recorded from their homes and sent to Rosewood Studios in Chilliwack to compile into a record. There is Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the Artists in Isolation albums and “Hey Baby,” by Parliament of Owls is in Volume 2. This album can be streamed online or purchased digitally as well as by CD. This project is about bringing together local musicians and allowing them to continue creating beautiful music during the COVID-19 pandemic. Parliament of Owls is happy to be able to be part of such an inclusive and genuine project within the local music community.
As for Andrew Christopher, gigs are slowly starting to come back and he’s hoping to do more in the near future. AC wants to work with artists as a life coach, but for music. He wants to help new artists with songwriting, performance tips, and building confidence, in hopes that they will follow their passion.
