Nightmares

Do you have nightmares? Are they super scary? Do you think about them for the rest of the day? Nightmares are just your brain bringing to life all of your biggest fears, in your sleep, when you’re your most vulnerable. For some people they aren’t that bad, and they were far worse when you were kids. Unfortunately for others, nightmares come around more often than regular dreams.

I happen to be one of these people. Nightmares are constant! They don’t always stand out, but last night I had a particularly awful one. It was every fear of mine combined into one: Zombies, the dark, death, my ex, and losing my friends. I’ve decided not to look into any of these fears, and I’ve accepted them. Usually when I have nightmares it’s only one or sometimes two of these things, never all at once. I woke up in a panic, and my face looked like it had been punched a few times.

It was chaos! My best friend was cheating on his girlfriend, there was a zombie apocalypse, a tornado, my ex was there (who I haven’t seen in months), my current boyfriend, a real, real mess. It was one of those super vivid ones where you wake up and think, “it was so real!”

I haven’t stopped thinking about it since I woke up, I’ve been telling anyone and everyone who will listen. Now I’m writing about it to you! SO please, tell me about your worst nightmare. I’m very curious.
