Winter is coming up, and in Vancouver that means we might be facing a small-to-large amount of snow. If the streets are anywhere near as icy as last year however, you may need to pick up
some new winter tires for safety. In fact under the law, drivers must obey winter tire and chain signs throughout the province from October 1 to March 31.
Drivers are recommended to install mountain or snowflake tires for cold weather driving and, in extreme conditions, carry chains.
I talked to Randy Sokalofsky of Big O Tires to ask him about the law.
