The 35th annual Vancouver International Film Festival is going down at the Vancity Theatre this week.
Affectionately know as VIFF, it is among the five largest film festivals in North America, with 10 screens playing movies from over 70 countries.
VIFF features many of the best short films in rotation, as well as some lesser known gems.
Vancouver-based director Peter Faint told us what the festival means to local directors, and how hard it is to get a film accepted into the Festival.
The festival ends on October 13th. Lucas Christopher, Evolution 107.9
