Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Amazon rainforest? If so, then the Museum of Anthropology at UBC has just the exhibit for you, Amazonia: The Rights of Nature.
The exhibition features Amazonian basketry, textiles, carvings, feather works and more, representing the many cultural groups of the area.
The exhibition also covers more than 100 years of relationships between Vancouver and Amazonian peoples.
I talked to Dr. Nuno Porto, a curator at UBC, to further explain the exhibit.
The exhibit will run until January 28th of the new year . Lucas Christopher, Evolution 107.9 News
