Business Consulting Projects (BCP)

Business Consulting Projects (BCP) provide second year Business Operations Management (BOM) students the opportunity to work with an external company for a period of 15 weeks. During this time, the students plan, develop, analyze and recommend a new business process for the company.

The students are guided by faculty advisors who provide feedback and guidance throughout this process. The students complete a written report, present an oral presentation and in some cases, implement the recommended new process.

This is a unique experience provided by the BCIT BOM program that challenges students to come up with solutions for problems that they may face outside the classroom.

There were many companies that were involved in the Fall 2022 Business Consulting Project with the BCIT Business Operations Management students. The following list outlines the different companies that the students will be sharing their experiences regarding their BCP at the Showcase!
