A shooting at a New Mexico high school has left 2 students and the gunman dead according to New Mexico State Police.
No other injuries have been reported.
The school of about 900 students was evacuated. Police have not yet given any details about the shooter, and is unknown how the gunman died, or what the motive was.
Families of the victims were notified immediately, according to state police.
According to the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI and State Police Crime Scene
teams are on the way to help investigate the scene.
Loved ones gathered at City Hall as they awaited more information from police.
Schools at the nearby town of Bloomfield were also locked down. Bloomfield Police President Russel Begaye sent his condolences.

Police say their main priority right now is to unite students with their families.
