For The Record: Hector Bremner, NPA candidate, Vancouver By-election

Hector Bremner is a Vancouver resident and Vice President of Gastown-based Pace Communications. Bremner is the Non-Partisan Association’s (NPA) candidate in the Vancouver by-election. Nine candidates are vying for one single seat after the resignation of Vision Vancouver councilor Geoff Meggs.

Bremner lives in a rented condo with his wife and two teenage sons in Downtown Vancouver.

Bremner was the B.C. Liberals candidate in 2013 in New Westminster where he lost of Judy Darcy of the NDP. He was also the Assistant to B.C’s Minister of International Trade, as well as working under Rich Coleman (current interim leader of the B.C. Liberals) when he the deputy premier.

Advance voting for the by-election is on October 10th while general voting day is October 14th, 2017.
