Applied Research in a Secure Computer Environment

The AIRC Lab is built to Canadian Government federal computer security standards. It is capable of hosting and analyzing extremely sensitive (Protect C – Top Secret) data. The lab’s security consists of interconnected fire and security systems which utilizes state of the art technology and systems.  The lab security and access control consists of secured doors, CCTV, access control doors to server and other features as necessary to ensure the labs security is robust and responsive. These systems are supported by strict guidelines for security clearance, access control, and log on permission to the computer network and audit trails for access, log on, printing and data disposal protocols (electronic erasure / hard copy confidential shredding).
