The Brunette Basin Task Group: Formed in 1997, the Brunette Basin Task Group includes governments and public interest groups working to create a management plan for the Brunette Watershed. The Task Group seeks to balance several key challenges in the watershed, including:
biodiversity and habitat protection/enhancement,
public health, safety and recreation,
cost reduction and flood protection, and
public education concerning watershed issues.
