Formed in 1997, the Brunette Basin Task Group includes governments and public interest groups working to create a management plan for the Brunette Watershed. The Task Group seeks to balance several key challenges in the watershed, including:
  • biodiversity and habitat protection/enhancement,
  • public health, safety and recreation,
  • cost reduction and flood protection, and
  • public education concerning watershed issues.
