British Columbia’s most promising entrepreneurs and visionaries will come together to celebrate innovation and small business development at BCIT’s Advancing IDEAS event on February 22. The night promises an exciting mix of networking opportunities, presentations from industry experts, and great food and drinks, as many of the province’s small business leaders meet in Vancouver’s Club 560 to support new ideas, technology, research and innovation in British Columbia.
Richard Dettman of News 1130 will MC the event. Richard has been part of the Lower Mainland radio and TV news scene since the 1970s. He also does daily business reports on CityTV’s Breakfast Television.
The evening’s keynote speaker will be Roger Hardy, Founder and CEO of Clearly Contacts Inc. In 2000, he started the discount eyewear retail website and, with the support of a strong team, soon grew it into the multi-million dollar international company that it is today.
