Attendees at the first meeting of the Women in Engineering club.
On October 5, the first Women in Engineering (WiE) meeting was held. WiE is an initiative of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering (CSCE) BCIT Student Chapter. Many students from the civil engineering club attended, as well as a couple of electrical engineering students. Faculty from all the engineering disciplines as well as the communication department attended. At the meeting, nominations for an executive were taken, and voting should take place within the next week.
