CCAE awards Prix d’Excellence for 3 Blog Nights

BCIT Marketing and Communications has won a Prix d’Excellence 2010 from the Canadian Council for Advancement of Education (CCAE) for the social media extravaganza known as 3 Blog Nights.

The online recruitment and awareness event, led by led by Marketing Communications and Web Services, saw BCIT staffers blog, tweet, and webcast for 67 hours straight, incorporating the latest and greatest social media tools to connect with prospective students and showcase BCIT’s wide array of programs to prospective students. Innovative? We thought so. And so did CCAE – they awarded Marketing and Communications a Prix d’Excellence 2010 in the category of Best E-Innovation in University Advancement.

3 Blog Nights is scheduled to live again this fall.
