After graduating from UVic with a degree in Environmental Studies and facing the reality of the job market, I figured it was time to upgrade my resume with some technical skills. I enrolled in BCIT’s Sustainable Resource Management Technology program and have loved every moment of it. I had loads of great experiences my first year, including a work practicum surveying invasive species in Stanley Park. I am eager to see what this year holds and am looking forward to getting to know more people around campus. My passions include music, reading, and the outdoors.
