I am a second year Marketing Management student in the communications option here at BCIT. After graduating from high school I ended up studying journalism in Ottawa at Carleton University. While in Ottawa I became more interested in the marketing/communications industry. So, I decided to change my career direction, move back to Vancouver and go to BCIT! It is probably the best decision I have made so far. My first year was full of amazing experiences, and many challenges. I am currently the VP of Communications for The Association of Integrated Marketers (AIM), a student run club at BCIT. I will be writing more about my role with AIM throughout the year on this blog. When I have free time I like to blog about advertising and marketing related news on my blog called The Advertisement Life. You can also find me on Twitter.
