Employment

Employment is a critical consequence of the AMTP. Early linkages between students and prospective employers are encouraged. These relationships will ideally be supported by employer commitments to trainees, apprentices and graduates of the various programs. Pre- and syn-training employment is encouraged but the more critical aspect is the availability of a job after the training has been done.

For Industry

We are actively seeking industry employers with an interest in increasing Aboriginal participation and employment on their projects. The critical support required by industry is employment of potential students, ongoing students and graduates of the Program. Other opportunities for involvement include sponsorship of students in the Program or sponsorship of courses within the communities.
