Shortly after 2 p.m. today, remains of what appears to be human bones inside a boot were reported found.
The boot was found in the sand along the water line at the dog park near the Maritime Museum at the foot of Arbutus Street.
Barb McLintock for the BC Coroner Service says the investigation is still in its preliminary stages.
“[Our team] is out there now, having a look and trying to determine what we have and what to do next.”
This is the ninth foot found in BC since 2007.
