Friends, family and colleagues gather to mourn RCMP officer

Friends, family, and colleagues gathered today in Surrey to mourn the death of former RCMP Pilot C/M David John Brolin.

Brolin was killed in a helicopter crash on the 17th of January near Cultus Lake, BC.

Brolin, who was born in California, flew for the 3rd Cavalry Air Mobile Unit during Operation Desert Storm.

During his five year career in the U.S. Army he attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.

He joined the RCMP in 2006 as a pilot.

 

The funeral was streamed live by the RCMP multimedia.
